Sample from 'The Tree' by Jenni Milne
Course date: Tuesday 9 August 2011
This workshop will be a fun day to experiment with dissolvable plastic.
Following Jenni's demonstration, students will use the plastic to enclose a variety of fabrics and fibres which will then be stitched together to create a tree. Whether it's a fantasy tree, or one based on natural tree shapes, the finished item can be further embellished, set into a garden scene with more embroidery or used as part of a panel.
Avalon plastic and some fabrics/materials will be supplied.
