July 2011 Newsletter

16 July 2011
Welcome to our newsletter for July/August 2011

For forthcoming fun, relaxing and informative classes and where to meet us this summer, read on ...

2011 has seen us have a great six months so far. We've been busy giving demonstrations at various shows including Craft4Crafters way back in January and more recently, at Devon County Show, Coombe Trenchard Garden Festival and Dartmouth Art & Craft weekend - we've had a great time and met some lovely people. We also celebrated our first birthday in May and hope that the next twelve months see the business continue to grow. We're very proud of what our customers say about us and that so many come back to do more. To read recent testimonials, please click here.

In addition to teaching our classes in Lifton, we've also been out and about elsewhere in the south west, giving classes to organisations wanting bespoke sessions. These have included landcsape painting in oils and acrylics, bead making and silk painting. Booking a private all day workshop for a social group, birthday or hen party for up to 12 people (depending on the chosen craft), costs just £200 for the day, plus materials and travel to your venue. This can work out at around £20 per head for a day's painting tuition which we believe is great value for money. If this is something you and a group of like-minded friends would like to organise, please contact us. For details of various ways to do this, please click here.

We've got a wide range of classes on offer over what's left of July (where does the time go?) and August. If you've got guests or family staying who want a fun day out with a difference, why not spend a day painting? Choose from oils and acrylics, watercolours or pastels. Alternatively, spend a day bead making, creating a beautiful textile or crafting silver clay jewellery. Don't forget - all our classes are suitable for complete beginners to intermediates and prices include lunch and refreshments, so all you have to do is relax and enjoy your day!

Enjoy the rest of the summer and we hope to see you soon,

Jo
