Hand-made fabric sample by Dee-Anne McCoull

Course date: Sunday 4 March 2012

Jazz up an A5 notebook to use as a scrapbook or to record sewing ideas for future crafty projects - these will make lovely Mother's Day gifts.

Choose from a range of colourful and tactile fabrics and let your imagination run wild! Dee will demonstrate a range of sewing techniques so you can experiment with materials, lace, net and sheer fabrics to create your own material with which to make a jacket for your notebook. The jacket can then be embellished using a range of decorative embroidery stitches, beads and hand-made ribbons to create a beautiful finished item. Suitable for all levels of experience.
