These round buttons are decorated with a striking flower pattern in a dark pink and cream on an olive ground. The flower actually includes two shades of pink, the lighter of which is slighly pearlescent which gives the flowers a very slight sparkle. There are two holes for sewing which are slighly recessed below the surface, and the pattern is continued over the back of the button too. There is no recess on the back but it would be possible to use the buttons upside down if you preferred. They measure approximately 22mm (1") in diameter and are around 4mm (1/4") thick.
