Bags by Jo Hunter
Bring along a gorgeous fabric, matching lining and your sewing machine to make a simple yet stunning bag featuring handmade buttons and beads.
Suitable for those new to sewing, Jo will guide you through making up your bag, including an inner pocket, magnetic fastener and strap. We will also make co-ordinating buttons and/or beads to embellish your bag, making it something special and unique.
Materials for the course
We will provide a simple pattern, wadding, magnetic closure and the tools, equipment and materials required to make your clay buttons and beads.
You will need to bring:
- Your sewing machine (and instruction book if possible)
- Sewing thread
- Your sewing kit: scissors, pins, unpicker etc etc
- Fabric and lining for the bag (1/2 metre of each)
- A camera
- Notebook and pen
