'Wave' by Yvette Wiltshire

Depict the sea, spray and surrounding landscape to capture the essence of a coastal view.
Yvette will take you through a range of techniques and practical applications to paint waves crashing over rocks, foam sprays, reflections on sand etc, to enable students to paint coastal scenes and seascapes effectively.
How to mix and apply colour, draw shape and form, apply accurate perspective, and render tone and texture successfully will also be demonstrated. Yvette will ensure that everyone is supported whatever their level, and there will be lots of opportunities for one-to-one tuition and development.
Materials for the course
- Any Watercolour materials and equipment you already own.
- Watercolour Paper (preferably a NOT surface and 140lb/300gsm in weight)
- Watercolour Brushes (Round No8 or 10 & a Flat Wash brush)
- A 2B pencil
- A water pot
- A soft eraser
- Kitchen roll
- Note pad and pencil/pen
