'Daisies' by Yvette Wiltshire
Course date: Tuesday 24 July 2012
Students will work from seasonal specimens, and the class will focus on observing and painting form, structure, colour and texture effectively. Yvette will demonstrate application techniques such as wet on dry, dry brush, wet in wet, lifting out, glazing, softening edges and resist techniques enabling you to develop your own skills with expert help on hand to capture these beautiful subjects using watercolours.
One-to-one tuition and support will be available throughout the day, and there will also be advice on equipment, materials, colour mixing and pen and wash techniques.
Materials for the course
- Any Watercolour materials and equipment you already own.
- Watercolour Paper (preferably a NOT surface and 140lb/300gsm in weight)
- Watercolour Brushes (Round No8 or 10 & a Flat Wash brush)
- A 2B pencil
- A soft eraser
- A water pot
- Kitchen roll
- Note pad and pencil/pen
