Marie Glossop

My family have a history of craftwork - Honiton lace, leather gloves, metalwork, knitting, and I have always made functional and decorative items for my home.
In 2002 I undertook an Adult Education course in Textile Decoration and became reinvigorated and it inspired me into new areas of craft. This eventually lead to a career change and I began teaching textiles and took my teaching qualification. I now teach a vaiety of crafts including Dress Making, Textiles, Mosaics and Jewellery.
I gain a lot of enjoyment from the process of 'making' itself and the personal gratification of achieving my designs which I hope to pass to those I teach.
