Jo Hunter
Jo completed her degree in Graphic Design in the 1980s, and has worked as a freelance Graphic Designer, within marketing departments in a number of companies and taught Graphics and Art & Design in post-16 and adult education all her working life.
In 2010 she founded West Country Creative Ltd, and developed a varied programme of art and craft classes for people living in Devon and Cornwall and those who may be visiting the area on holiday. She recently gained a jewellery making qualification and now enjoys making both Polymer Clay and Precious Metal Clay jewellery in her spare time.
'Of all the jewellery techniques covered on the course, I was particularly drawn to working with clay. I love the colours, blends and patterns that can be achieved with the Polymer Clay, and the Precious Metal Clay is fascinating - the range of textures and shapes that can be achieved is amazing.'
