Dee Anne McCoull

Dee started her stitching career at the age of 4. Taking lessons from her Mum who had taken a 7 year apprenticeship as a Court dressmaker – making dresses for the Queen when she was a young child. Later in life Dee worked as a wedding dress designer and manufacturer. This led to her appearing on television and in magazines. Her work was shown in London on a regular basis.

In recent years the Arts and textiles have taken over and a lot of her work is in homes all over the world.

Dee says that she just loves creating, making different textures with paint and fabric and just recently, with glass and wire fencing. She cannot imagine her life without being creative.
