Terms and Conditions

Any booking made on any course signifies your agreement to abide by these Terms and Conditions.


I continually strive to improve my courses, publicity and website and reserve the right to amend these, make minor alterations to course content and my prices at my discretion and without notice.

Any photographs or video footage taken by me during the course remains the property of West Country Creative and may be used for future marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be involved in this, please let me know beforehand. 

What’s included...

The prices shown in my publicity are correct at the time of publication and include all tuition for the course, tea and coffee and the materials and equipment required to make the item described in the course details unless specified. Lunch is not included.

Additional materials may be available to purchase on the day.


There is plenty of parking at Plowden Park but please note that vehicles and their contents are left at your own risk. 

Health and Safety

All students must act with the safety of other students in mind, and must comply with the Health and Safety advice given during the course. Please let me know of any areas of concern that could adversely affect you or your fellow students to enable me to take appropriate action to rectify the situation. 

I cannot be held liable for any accident or injury incurred whilst attending a course, or for any loss or damage to your personal possessions.  

Special requirements

If you have any mobility needs, allergies, or medical conditions which may affect you or others during your class, please let me know. Wheelchair access may be available with prior notice. Please note that toilet facilities are not wheelchair accessible or fitted with mobility aids. 


Full payment in advance is required to reserve your place on any course. I will send you a receipt to confirm your booking once payment has been made. I am unable to make any reductions in respect of absence during any part of the course.

Group bookings

A group booking for four students on any one course will attract a discount of 5%. The booking must be paid for in full no less than 14 days before the start date of the course by one person who will be considered the group leader. This person will be my contact and responsible for all arrangements made. All group members signify acceptance of my Terms and Conditions if a booking is made for them on their behalf in this way.


If you need to cancel a booking, please notify me in writing. I may be able to offer you an alternative course/date and transfer your fees in full. 

If you cancel your booking before the start date of the course, the following scale of refunds will apply:

  • Over 3 weeks cancellation notice: Full refund
  • 2-3 weeks cancellation notice: 50% refund
  • Less than 14 days cancellation notice: No refund

In the unlikely event that I have to cancel a course, I will notify you as soon as practicably possible and offer you a full refund or the opportunity to transfer to another course/date. Please be aware that I cannot be held liable to any other party or for any other costs other than course fees incurred by the student as a result of my cancelling a course.
