Best of Both Workshop

Best of Both Workshop

10.00am - 5.00pm

If you’re new to working with polymer or silver clay or both, and you’re not sure which workshop to choose, why not have a go at both? This class will give you the opportunity to learn or refresh your skills with the two materials together, whilst providing a great starting point for creating new, exciting and unique jewellery.

Students will have the chance to make a simple pendant and drop earring set for example, which combine both silver and polymer clay elements. We will look at design ideas, the necessary considerations when working with each material and how to create your piece(s).

During this fun day, you’ll learn all the basics for working with each material including how to mix polymer colours, how to texture and cut shapes, how to ensure your elements work successfully together and how to torch fire your silver. You’ll come away with a truly unique personal collection, a materials and supplier list and lots of ideas for pieces to make in the future!

This workshop is suitable for those aged 16+.

My workshop classes have a maximum of six places for polymer and just four for silver. This ensures that everyone gets plenty of support and help when they need it, and everyone can work at their own pace. There is no minimum number of students required before a class will run so please don't be concerned that once you have booked, your class might be cancelled. Once you have paid, I will send you a Course Information Sheet which is your confirmation that I have received your booking. It includes a detailed map and tells you what to expect on the course and what to bring so, look out for this in your inbox!

If you have any questions at all, please get in touch here or ring me, Jo, on 01566 784713.
