Come and make beautiful fine silver, drop earrings at Craft4Crafters this February on this exclusive workshop!

This workshop offers students a great opportunity to try out jewellery making with silver clay. Jo, your tutor, will take you through the complete process of how to use this amazing material. The workshop is offered in 2 parts and you will need to attend both sessions to complete the project.

Stage one: 10.30am – 11.30am

During the first part of the workshop we will cover the tools you need to work with the clay and how to prepare them. You will choose a texture/pattern for the front of your earrings which we will apply to the clay before cutting the drops out in the shape of your choice. There will be lots to choose from! The clay will then be dried on the stand ready for you to come back in the afternoon and undertake….

Stage 2: 1.30pm – 2.30pm

The second part of the workshop will cover how to refine and fire your silver using a small, hand held butane torch. You will then polish your charms and we’ll add sterling silver fish hooks to complete the earrings so you can wear them home!

There are just 4 places available on this workshop each day so booking in advance is essential. Once you have paid for your place, you will be sent an email receipt which you will need to bring with you to the workshop. If you are purchasing a place on behalf of someone else, please email Jo at jo@westcountrycreative.co.uk to let her know your order details and the name of the person who will be attending.

Please note…

Each workshop will start promptly as there will be lots to do, so please arrive on time!
